Sintel was born in 1987, carrying in its automotive DNA the pioneering spirit that transformed the way automotive chain suppliers use electronic information flow through EDI to serve automakers in Brazil.
By 1998, we had already implemented a solution to support international information exchange standards, such as EDIFACT and X12. In the year 2000, we launched our product family to serve the logistics sector and integrate the value chain.
Our cloud EDI solution was already operational by 2007 , and the following year, we advanced the internationalization process to commence operations in the United States in 2012and in Europe in 2013. In 2017, we combined technical expertise with our deep automotive industry knowledge, expanding our solution portfolio by integrating information into SAP.
With the implementation of the Global Operations Center (GOC) in 2022, Sintel consolidates its expertise in the automotive sector through a global, non-stop operation, providing a structure that simplifies the customer’s operation, ensuring resilience for automotive industry suppliers to quickly adapt to changes and avoid supply disruptions.
From 2023 onward, Sintel embarks on its new transformation cycle with a product platform that enables customers to evolve on a global scale, providing a more comprehensive and enhanced experience.
